Agriculture & Herbs

Our agriculture and herbs department operates under a License No. R1017965. It aims to cultivate high value niche products such as blueberries, strawberry, grapes, Sichuan pepper, persimmon, and apple in temperate region for domestic as well as international markets. It also plans cultivate betel nut, high value mangoes, lime, and black pepper on commercial scale.

The agriculture farm activities will be integrated with livestock husbandry especially dairy husbandry in order to produce natural products almost free of agro-chemicals. The integrated approach will be to enable the company to produce agriculture products in climate resilient, environmentally friendly, socially acceptable and economically sustainable ways. The company will also adopt climate smart technologies such as smart irrigation, water harvesting, biochar, bokashi, and wood vinegar application.

The company plans to cultivate culinary herbs such as thyme, pepper mint, chocolate mint, rosemary, oregano, parsley, and dil. The herbal products will be marketed fresh to high end hotels and also processed into different products. The herbs will be produced with minimal use of agro-chemicals so as to minimize detrimental effects to human health and environment.

The company will also cultivate medicinal herbs. The medicinal herbal products will be sold to both internal and external markets. The objective of the cultivation of the herbal products is to fully capitalize on favourable growing conditions featured with good soil, water, and air qualities.

The commercial cultivation of the crops is aimed at producing quality products for market, employment and income generation, import substitution, utilization of fallow land and land suitable for agriculture, and set on motion commercial agriculture ventures in the country.
